If you ever make it to Lake Michigan, it’s an amazing place to see!
The towns along the shoreline are beautiful, offering something for everyone.
We stayed in Holland, Michigan.
We made our way to Holland State Park to watch amazing sunset views of Lake Michigan.
After that, there is a great walking path that runs alongside Lake Macatawa.

For dinner, we found the Ottawa Beach Inn and loved the food there.
All of these places are Frankie friendly and go out of their way to welcome dogs…Ottawa Beach Inn.
Grand Haven
The next day we took a ride up Lakeshore Avenue to Grand Haven.
Wow, this place is beautiful with its downtown shopping area, marina, and inlet to Lake Michigan!

It’s an easy town to walk around and there are tons of restaurants, shops, and sites to see.

It was nice to celebrate Michael’s birthday at the Copper Post Restaurant near the marina.
